A towering figure along the blueline at 6'6", he defends his position very well (both with an active stick as well as with physical play). Despite the ability to go for big hits, he usually stays disciplined in terms of his positioning. Is surprisingly quick whenever he joins the rush. Needs to continue to work on his skating ability, as well as his point shot, in order to maximize output in the NHL. Also needs to fill out, completely.
Long Range Potential: Huge, all-around defenseman with upside.
